After a brutal back-and-forth battle with Dijakovic, Adam Cole succeeded in climbing up the ladder and grabbing the briefcase to win the match. Owing to his victory, The Undisputed Era will possess an upper hand ahead of their forthcoming match against the team of Tommaso Ciampa.
Chaos on NXT
As soon as the NXT Champion picked up the victory, RAW and SmackDown Superstars invaded the Black-and-Gold brand resulting in utter chaos. Former WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins also showed up on NXT and got his hands on Adam Cole. Tommaso Ciampa eventually made his presence felt and fought with The Architect to conclude tonight’s episode.
Due to the mayhem, we are yet to know about the final member of Team Ciampa but hopefully, his identity will be disclosed soon. For the time being, we know that Tommaso Ciampa, Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee and another NXT Superstar will take on Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong in a WarGames match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
Courtesy of winning tonight’s Ladder match, The Undisputed Era will also have a two-on-one advantage from the beginning of the battle.
